From the moment you hear the voice, you know it: fierce and powerful, clear and passionate, a voice that could belong to no one else but the woman millions of fans the world over know only as Reba.
As one of this generation’s most credible and visible talents, Faith Hill has based her career on dedication, passion and commitment.
To all appearances, Gretchen Wilson went overnight from talented obscurity to phenomenon. Her meteoric rise, the kind experienced by only a handful of artists in the past few decades, was that rare instance where talent and moment meet to form a cultural tidal wave. Still, she knows better than anyone the simple force that fueled it.
"The reason I've been successful is that I've been genuine from the get-go."

Emmylou Harris is truly a modern innovator. For over 30 years, Emmylou has flowed effortlessly between genres achieving popularity in pop, folk, country and now alternative. The common bridge is an exquisite vocal style and a gift for discovering the heart of a song.
At 16, she put together a band, handling publicity, marketing, booking, song selection and set lists. She even ran the soundboard from the stage. When she moved to Nashville, she brought that work ethic with her, surviving by entering -- and winning -- talent contests around town. She also found a home on a regional radio show where producer Byron Gallimore heard her. With Gallimore guiding her, Messina made inroads in the Nashville music community.

Sugarland
"Worm"
Sugarland’s Kristian Bush recalls his reaction when fans first started to sing along to their songs in concert.

“I’d seek those people out and give them a guitar pick,” he says with a laugh. “Now I don’t have near enough picks.”

That’s what happens when the world falls in love with your music. It’s already been a year of extraordinary firsts for Sugarland, the chart-topping singer-songwriter duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush.
